Labor Day Weekend
Over Labor Day weekend I had a lot of fun. On Friday I went out to eat at the freight house in La Crosse, and then went home. Most of the weekend I was pretty mad at my car that needs to be fixed. I tried fixing it but I do not have the right tools to fix it so it’s going to cost me when I take it in. Besides that on Saturday I went to a family pig roast at my cousins. There was a lot of family there and we had a good time. At the end of the party I helped light off fireworks and accidently blew up 2 mortars and my cousin purposely blew one up. Sunday I woke up later in the evening and was called by my cousin and asked me if I wanted to go boating to castle rock and I said yes, it was a good choice. They came and picked me up and we drove to the lake and unloaded the boat. It was pretty busy and we pulled up to an island where we met our other friends. While we were there our boat wouldn’t start and we had to wait for about an hour then eventually we got it started and went to the other side of the lake to meet our friends. Later that night I drove the boat back in the dark and followed the shore lights back to the dock and then loaded the boat on the trailer. We stayed at the lake until around 2 AM and then we drove home and went to bed. Monday was really uneventful. I stayed home and watched TV most of the day and then later went to best buy in La Crosse. Labor Day weekend was the most fun I have had in a long time.

Im sorry you car is having issues, so is mine, but at least my boyfriend can fix all of my problems.

ReplyDeleteHey Blake sounds like a pretty great weekend, despite the car issues. I love the Freight House. I work at the Waterfront, which is also downtown. Maybe next time you have dinner with the fam you could come to Waterfront. Our food is really yummy and about the same price point as freight.
ReplyDeleteIts good to give time for yourself and friends. At least you had a pretty fun labor day weekend, mine was really boring. But hey the weekend after that was a blast for me, I went to a wedding and the DJ was awesome. But I love to dance so I was on the dance floor the whole time. ha! But sure give yourself some "fun time" if you haven't gotten to it yet.
